The folks over at wrote a good write-up on how to get started with this. Use the optional paths if you dont understand, or dont want hardlinks/atomic moves. Mainly losing the ability to hardlink (TL DR a way for a file to exist in multiple places on the same file system while only consuming one file worth of space), or atomic move (TL DR instant file moves, rather than copy+delete) files while processing content. While easy to use, it has some drawbacks. We have set /incomplete-downloads and /downloads as optional paths, this is because it is the easiest way to get started.

In Sabnzbd gui settings, under Folders, make sure to set the Completed Download Folder as /downloads and the Temporary Download Folder as /incomplete-downloads To use it set the Scripts folder in the Folder settings to /app/nzbnotify and then configure it under Notifications. Nzb-notify is included with this image as a convenience script. See the SABnzbd wiki for more information. Initial setup is done from the http port. Please read the descriptions carefully and exercise caution when using unstable or development tags. This image provides various versions that are available via tags. The architectures supported by this image are: Architecture Simply pulling lscr.io/linuxserver/sabnzbd:latest should retrieve the correct image for your arch, but you can also pull specific arch images via tags. More information is available from docker here and our announcement here. We utilise the docker manifest for multi-platform awareness. Blog - all the things you can do with our containers including How-To guides, opinions and much more!.weekly base OS updates with common layers across the entire LinuxServer.io ecosystem to minimise space usage, down time and bandwidth. The issue was something else, not the port. The LinuxServer.io team brings you another container release featuring: The configuration has 9292 as the insecure port and 8243 as https both work fine after the re-install. Is there a way to force a certain port on a qpkg, or will it just randomly change from time to time as the package is updated? EDIT: the port was a red herring. I'm assuming this has to do with the way the NAS assigns ports to installed applications. That worked fine, but again the new qpkg is looking for port 9292 instead of 8243, even though the config.ini has 8243 as the port. I wound up just completely uninstalling and reinstalling SAB, keeping a copy of my config file so that I didn't have to re-enter the server names and other configuration. Is there a way to see what port this running server is using? Trying to start SAB from the QNAP shortcuts opens which also reports unable to connect.

The config file didn't change from my last update 20 August, but reports unable to connect. I just upgraded to 3.0.1, and now SAB won't start.
